Pakistan Super League (PSL) the Pakistan’s version of Twenty20 League will be start in End of March. The PSL logo was unveiled in Lahore by PCB in glitzy ceremony attended by Pakistan men cricketers, women cricket team captain, former cricket greats and PCB officials.
The event was attended by Pakistan Test and ODI captain Misbah-ul-haq, Twenty20 International captain Mohammad Hafeez, all-rounder Shoaib Malik, wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal, Pakistan women cricket team captain Sana Mir. Former chief of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Haroon Lorgat is appointed as advisor of PSL. Haroon Lorgat during the ceremony said that today is very important day for Pakistan as Pakistan Super League (PSL) will help in reviving international cricket in Pakistan.
The tournament opening ceremony will be held on 23rd March and the matches will start from 25th March to 7th April 2013. Five teams will be competing in the PSL and 23 matches will be played during the tournament.
