It was during the time when Indian claimed a surgical strike inside Pakistan in which Indian claimed killing dozens of Kashmiri militants. Pakistani government and army rejected Indian claimed and said no surgical strikes were carried out, but this resulted in tensions on border in which dozens of Pakistani soldier and civilians were killed.
In one incident India attacked a civilian transport vehicle in which 11 civilians were killed, it took hours to transport the injured to hospital because Indian shelling made it impossible to reach them.
