Karachi University Mass Communication Chairman Mahmood Ghaznavi To Retire On 1st March

One of the most dedicated and senior professors of University of Karachi, Chairman of Mass Communication Department and television host Dr. Mahmood Ghaznavi is going to retire on 1^st March 2016. Professor Dr. Mahmood Ghaznavi will be retired after serving University of Karachi for 32 years as a teacher. After his retirement, it is possible that Mahmood Ghaznavi rejoin his profession as a visiting faculty member and once again provide knowledge to the students, but it is not yet confirmed. All the sitting and passed out students of Mass Communication Department, University of Karachi are sad on his retirement.

Mahmood Ghaznavi is considered among the most experienced and talented teachers of University of Karachi, who have dedicated almost their whole life for this cause. In March 2015, Chairman of Mass Communication Department Dr. Tahir Masood had resigned from his position after having dispute with the faculty members on modification of the curriculum. After the resignation of Dr Tahir Masood, Professor Mahmood Ghaznavi was appointed as Chairman Mass Communication Department. Despite of his services in the educational field, Mahmood Ghaznavi also hosts religious program Aap Kay Masail Ka Hal on QTV.

As many heads of departments in University of Karachi faced corruption charges, but the profile of Mahmood Ghaznavi is clean.
