Karachi University is the one of the oldest and biggest public sector University of Pakistan established in 1951. Currently Prof. Dr Muhammad Qaiser is the Vice Chancellor of Karachi University but soon he is going to complete his four years as the Vice Chancellor of Karachi University and might be retired. There are also chances that he will get extension.
Possibilities:
- Abu Zar Wajidi – He is currently professor in University of Karachi. In 2012 he was Dean of Management And Administrative Sciences. He was in consideration list for the candidate for vice chancellor 2012 of Karachi University. He also acted as acting Vice Chancellor of University of Karachi when Dr Muhammad Qaiser went to China in 2012.
- Fateh Muhammad Burfat – Former chairman of the Sociology, Criminology and Population Sciences departments at the University of Karachi and currently professor of criminology department at Karachi university.
- Khalid Iraqi – He is currently Dean of Management & Administrative Sciences Department at University of Karachi.
Previously Prof. Dr Muhammad Qaiser was on the post of Vice Chancellor at Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology from 2008 till 2013, He was having a dual charge of both the universities till Jan. 2013. At Karachi University he worked in the position of registrar, student advisor and project director.
