Digestion: Cumin’s aroma of cumin comes from the component Cuminaldehyde which activates our salivary glands and helps the digestion of food. It also contains thymol that stimulates the secretion of acid and enzymes which help in the complete digestion of food. Being rich in sodium and magnesium means it also treats stomach aches.
Diabetes: Research is also being carried out on the positive impact of cumin on type II Diabetes after it was observed that continuous consumption of cumin decreased the sugar, those who used it regularly were protected from diabetes and had lower risk of getting diabetes.
