ISLAMABAD: Foreign Adviser Sartaj Aziz has said that America should avoid such steps that can cause instability in the region whereas no territorial integrity will be comprised during the visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to USA.
While giving interview to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), the National Security and Foreign Adviser Sartaj Aziz said that Pakistan wanted to promote economical relations with USA, adding that during the visit Nawaz Sharif to USA, security, regional and international issues including bilateral ties would be discussed.
Sartaj Aziz emphasized that territorial integrity will not be compromised at any cost whereas the work to include Pakistan in the mainstream of nuclear powers is continued. The foreign adviser added that it is America’s will how it keeps ties with India but in such situation when there is tension between Pakistan and India; it should at least avoid increasing traditional and strategic imbalance in the region that could be harmful.
Sartaj Aziz said that all the countries like USA want Pakistan and India to solve their issues through talks but for this, imbalance should be avoided in the region.
