New Delhi: Pakistani High Commissioner to India, Abdul Basit has said that extremists in India don’t want betterment in the relations of Pakistan and India. According to the report of radio Pakistan, Abdul Basit while talking in a program said that Pakistan wants solution of all the outstanding matters including Kashmir and terrorism through talks.
The High Commissioner said that the extremists in India yesterday forced to cancel the scheduled meeting between the chiefs of cricket boards of Pakistan and India as well. Abdul Basit expressed his concerned over the increasing violent incident in Indian state, Maharashtra and said that the violence and attacks on the Muslims by the Hindu extremists are very serious.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Hindu extremists from Shiv Sena had attacked on headquarter of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) which is situated in Wankhede stadium. The members of Shiv Sena chanted slogans against the chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, Shahryar Khan and demanded of his return to Pakistan.
The meeting between Shahryar Khan and the new president of BCCI Shashank Manohar was scheduled today which has been cancelled after the protest of extremist party, Shiv Sena.
