ISLAMABAD: Pak-India talks are likely to restore after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to USA and meeting with US President Obama. A local newspaper writes that the talks on the level of national security advisers are likely to restore after PM’s visit to USA.
According to diplomatic sources, possible Pak-India talks can be restored on the level of national security advisers of both the countries however, if the talks could not take place on this platform, South Asian nuclear countries could start “Back Channel Diplomacy” and its purpose would be the same to pave the way to start talks officially.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is going to USA on three-day-visit this month on October 20, 2015. He will meet US president Barack Obama and will share issues of mutual interest as well as Pak-India relations, especially tension between both the countries.
According to sources, USA is taking keen interest in restoring the talks between Pakistan and India and it has in this regard used diplomatic channel as well.
