Roshan Ali Sheikh Takes Charge As Commissioner Karachi

Karachi: Roshan Ali Sheikh has been appointed as Commissioner Karachi. Today, he took charge of his post. Earlier, after many days of discussions and meetings Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) agreed to implement Commissionerate system 1979 in Sindh. Now Karachi has been divided into five districts, East, West, North, South and Central. This is old status of Karachi city.

Other four commissioners of divisional headquarters of Sindh are Ahmed Baksh Narejo (Hyderabad), Ghulam Hussain Memon (Mirpur Khas), Abdul Aleem Lashari (Larkana) and Inamullah Dharejo (Sukkur).
