Corruption allegations against PPP leaders are baseless. PPP leaders have many times claimed that they would quit politics forever if corruption allegations levelled against them would have any base. After long long period of 13 year, could not be proved against Zardari and he has been respectably acquitted from SGS case. All these cases were politically motivated and melted on the behest of PML-N chief. Nothing could be proved against PPP leaders because these were mere allegations for political stunts. It is true that PPP neither compromised on national interests nor accepted dictation from foreign powers and the IMF and these were just allegations on the government.PPP government’s stance on Raymond Davis was very clear who allegedly shot dead two Pakistanis. US pressurised Islamabad for his release but the present government did not take pressure in this regard. The US had threatened the founder chairman of PPP Zulfikar Ali Bhutto not to launch nuclear programme, otherwise, he would have to face dire consequences, but ZAB set aside the US warnings and persued the goal. PPP founder chairman did not compromised on nuclear programme as well as national integrity and sacrificed his life. There need to promote the politics of principle, but on the other hand PML-N is promoting ‘Lotas’ turncoats.
