Karachi: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have issued show cause notice to star all rounder Abdul Razzaq on his statement which he gave against the Pakistani Captain Mohammad Hafeez because it violated the code of conduct of PCB.
According to sources, there was no central contract between Razzaq and PCB but Razzaq was in tour contract with PCB. According to Abdul Razzaq, captain Hafeez dropped him against Sri Lanka from playing eleven in the semi-final of T20 World Cup.
Moreover, PCB will demand the description about Abdul Razzaq blame against Mohammad Hafeez. PCB chairmen Zaka Ashraf will give decision about this case after his return to Pakistan.
Abdul Razzaq played only one match in T20 World Cup against Australia where he scored 22 runs on just 17 balls. In all other matches Sohail Tanvir was preferred over Abdul Razzaq.
