Pakistan Iran gas pipeline project is a very vital project to for Pakistan and specially in solving out the gas shortage and power shortage in the whole country. This project has also been creating troubles for the West because according to them this project will hurt their sanctions and stance on Iran for the nuclear issue.
Pakistan have already conveyed that this project doesn’t come under the UN and EU sanctions because the country is in dire need of energy and power to boost the fragile economy if Pakistan don’t take gas from Iran then the economy can suffer billions of dollar lost.
The west has been using Pakistan for their own reasons, interest and benefits since Pakistan hasn’t got many benefits from them. They have been black mailing that if Pakistan adopts this deal then the economy of Pakistan will come under the UN sanctions already applied on the Iran.
The country already have lost billions of dollars for the sake of US and the so called war against terrorism in which Pakistan has gain nothing but the lost of lives including the security forces, common men, women, children and foreigners. Now Pakistan can’t bear lost at this stage where the power sector is seriously going from crisis. Pakistan can’t trust on the US dollars bounties and aid.
The country stakes holders have to make some decisions to stand and bring back our country on its foot and on track of success and prosperity. Pakistan can’t afford to trust US and its lie promises of solving out energy problems. We should and we have to grow through our deal with Iran of gas pipeline.
The deal is in the stage of recommendations and consultations in which the government is looking out for the investors and some of the Russian investors have shown interest in doing this task. A talk is also going on with Government of China and Banks of China. Iran has also shown the support and providing a quick loan to build the pipe lines in Pakistan.
If, this deal goes on and become finally functional and operational then this could give much benefit to economy and relief to the people who are currently going from power shortage depression.
