New Delhi: It has revealed that Pakistan High Commission received a letter threat letter in New Delhi in the past few days that indicates warning to harm Pakistan administrators. Pakistan has demanded to increase protection and securities at its embassy in New Delhi. Pakistan’s High Commissioner of India, Abdul Basit has informed to senior officials at the India’s External Affairs Ministry about a threatening letter which was received few days ago.
This report has been confirmed by the Indian federal government sources that Pakistan High Commission received a letter which contains threats to the Pakistani Commissioner and other member of the Pakistan High Commission. Pakistani sources indicated that it was New Delhi’s duty to assure them the security of Pakistan High Commission and all its representatives and other staff.
Staff of Pakistan High Commission in India wanted an investigation into the letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad due to which Pakistan has raised the issue with the Indian authorities. Indian government sources by confirming the threat letter said that they provide concentrated security to all missions and same to the Pakistan. According to Indian reports, there were no confirmation reports about who sent the threatening letters to harm Pakistani diplomats.
The Pakistan high commission in India has received threats in situation that the Kashmiri’s student had raised Pakistan slogans in Indian university and became the subject of torture after that and as the Muslims have taken place in Indian State of Assam.
