London: Young baby boy Ruben Weber-Jackson’s life was like a flashing lamp because he was born with two holes in his heart due to which his breaths were restricted to move in a normal way. But now there is nothing like that because cow’s heart beating in his chest as British doctors have saved his life by repaired his heart’s holes using tissue from a cow’s heart during a major operation and he can breathe normally now.
Her mother named as Petra, residents of Yorkshire said Ruben Weber-Jackson seemed to be normal baby boy when he was born as he was pink and everything seemed perfect. But there were possibly a few little signs, but nothing could make us realize that there was a real problem. Petra told one day when he was two weeks and two days old his breath made us surprised as she felt that there is something wrong. Doctors took his X-rays at Hull Royal Infirmary and showed Ruben had two holes in his heart and a narrowing of the aorta. As he was taking unusual breath and his lips were getting purple then doctors decided a major operation of his heart surgery by using a cow’s heart tissue which has saved his life.
This major operation or procedure of using cow’s heart tissue is usually known as a bovine pericardial patch. Due to this surgery, doctors allowed Ruben Weber-Jackson to see his first birthday. His mother Petra lives in Beverley with husband Mike, Ruben and their sons, said there was no day that goes by where I don’t think about how different our lives could be now, we came to losing him but it was miracle that he is living happy life now as he is such a happy baby.
