Quaid-e-Azam’s bust was inaugurated by London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan at British Museum as a tribute to the founder of Pakistan on 70th independence.
The sculpture was installed by the Pakistani Commission to celebrate the independence of Pakistan and it will be moved to Lincoln’s Inn where Muhammad Ali Jinnah was invited in 1896. Currently the bar was being refurbished so the inauguration was done at British Museum.

Speaking at the event Pakistan’s High Commissioner of London Syed Ibne Abbas said that ‘We thought it was the most befitting tribute to the founder of the nation’. More than 400 guests were present at the unveiling ceremony including the sculptor Philip Jackson.
Philip said that he studied all photographs of Quaid-e-Azam, watched all his clips and studied every line which was written about him before designing the bust.
