Popular religious scholar of Pakistan, Junaid Jamshed’s father Jamshed Akbar Khan has died on Tuesday. According to a tweet posted by Junaid Jamshed, his father has died and asked all his fans and followers to pray for him. Junaid Jamshed has also told his fans and friends regarding Namaz e Janaza of his father, which was held on 26th of January, after Namaz e Zuhr in Ali Masjid, Khayaban e Muhafiz, Defence Phase 6, Karachi.
According to the media reports, he had been ill from the last few months. Father of Junaid Jamshed, Jamshed Akber Khan was retired colonel and he had showed his braveness in 1965 war between India and Pakistan.
