The Lahore High Court (LHC) has reserved verdict on Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi’s petition regarding transfer of case from IHC to LHC on Monday.
Zaki-ur-Rehman, accused of Mumbai attacks, has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court, seeking transfer of his case from the Islamabad High Court to the LHC. LHC Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry heard the case.
Zaki-ur-Rehman’s counsel informed the court that the case has been pending in the IHC for last seven months, adding that the federal government is influencing. He requested the court to transfer the case from the IHC to LHC.
