The Government of Pakistan has taken remarkable to solve the problem of the retired civil servants. The Federal Govt. has announced to transfer the pension of retired government employees directly into their bank accounts. Accountant General Pakistan Revenues has published an advertisement in the leading newspapers of Pakistan regarding this new service. According to this advertisement, the pension of all the employees of Federal Government from Grade 17 to 22 will be transferred directly into their bank accounts, before 31st March 2016. After 31st March 2016, Federal Government employees from Grade 17 to 22, will not able to receive their pension from Pension Box.
Features of New System of Pension
- Pension will be transferred on the monthly basis, as monthly salary.
- Pension will be transferred directly into the bank accounts of pensioners.
- Pensioners can open their accounts in any bank around the country.
- Receiving of pension without any problem of pension bill.
- Pensioners will draw their amount through ATM or Cheque.
Procedure
In order to receive your pension directly into your bank account, submit the following documents in the office of AGPR.
- Option form attested by bank. It can be also downloaded from the official website of AGPR “agpr.gov.pk”.
- Rs20 indemnity bonds duly attested by notary public.
- Copy of non-marriage certificate of widow in case of family pension.
