Sheikhupura: Pakistan Intelligence agencies have traced down the India plan to spread hazardous diseases through Gutkha, Supari all over the country. The India smuggler via Cargo Aircraft sends Gutkha Supari in huge quantity to Afghanistan first and then it came to Quetta, from where it is then supplied to Punjab, Sindh and other parts of the country.
The estimate amount of business on route between Quetta and Karachi is about one billion rupees. The most important dealer who imports goods from India Hajji Mehmood Chili’s name is also mentioned in the report while other key dealers are Qasim Achakzai and Kakar brothers.
Few senior officials of the concerned law enforcement departments are indulged in helping to continue this illegal business on a very large scale, despite the disbanding on it by the ministry of commerce, ports and shipping, the report said.
According to the report, Chairman FBR, Home Secretaries of all Provincial governments, IGs police, DG Rangers, DG Coast Guards and DG Gilgit Balistan Scouts are sent and ordered by the Interior Ministry to take effective measures in order to eliminate the illegal smuggling of Gutkha, Supari in the country.
