According to media reports Gwadar Airline will soon start its operations in Pakistan by offering domestic flights to and from Lahore, Quetta and Islamabad.
Initially three direct weekly flights will be launched from Gwadar through three major cities and later the flights and destinations will be increased. Currently it is not known who is behind this new venture but there are speculations that it is being started by an Omani company.
There are reports that the operations & first flight of Gwadar Airline will start on 9th April but there is no confirmation about the date of launching.

With the start of Gwadar Port & China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Gwadar has become a hub for economic activity. Recently Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) also increased its flights from Karachi To Gwadar. Previously there was one flight from Karachi but now it has been increase to two flights daily.

It is expected that with the increase in business activity in portal city of Balochistan private airlines will also start operations in Gwadar.
