The Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr Nawaz Sharif has said that unless we accomplish the objectives of ‘’Zarb-i-Azb’’, the operation will be continued in North Waziristan, vowing that all the foreign and local terrorists will be eliminated. The premier stated this while meeting between Nawaz Sharif and the Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt was going on.
On this occasion, the premier said that a plane to develop tribal areas had been made after the completion of the operation. He appreciated the role of Pakistan Air force, saying that Pakistan Air Force would continue to perform its role in the defense of the country.
The Prime Minister said that Zarb-i-Azb operation was started after careful thought and consideration. He added that all the foreign and local terrorists would be eliminated indiscriminately and the state would found its writ in tribal areas.
On the other hand, Pakistan has demanded of Afghanistan to take stern action in order to arrest Mullah Fazlullah, Amir of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban, adding that the operation ‘’Zarb-i-Azb’’ fully depends on countries’ abilities or skills and there is no need of help from anyone.
According to sources, ISPR and federal ministers have briefed foreign media concerning the operation, stating that the North Waziristan had become the center and the last compound of terrorists, adding that the operation started after careful thought and consideration in order to pave the way for the peace in the terror-stricken areas.
The briefing stated that all the ways to flee for the terrorists were closed before the operation started and Zarb-i-Azb was going on against all the terrorists indiscriminately till the state would found its writ in the affected areas.
