Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi has staged a demonstration to express solidarity to the people of Gaza and against the recent Israeli assault on the Gaza strip of Philistine that claimed about 100 innocent lives of people including children and women. The demonstration was held after Friday prayers, outside Bait-ul-Mukaram mosque at Gulshan-e-Iqbal, here. A large number of JI workers and human rights activists, carrying placards and banners chanted slogans against the Israeli attack on innocent people of Gaza.
Addressing the demonstration JI Sindh leader Asadullah Bhutto strictly criticized the psychopathic behavior of international community in general and Muslim Umma in particular. He expressed sorrow that the D8 conference didn’t devise a strategy or even issue a statement. He was of the view that the US and its allies have once proved their bias mindset and anti-Muslim stance.
He said barbaric Israeli attacks on Gaza are worst example of terrorism. He termed the attacks as nastiest naked state terrorism on innocent civilian philistines. Criticizing the role of Pakistani government and political rulers, he said that Pakistani rulers and political leaders used to disguise the people through their sentiments provoking statements and walk-ins and outs, instead of delivering on ground level.
He said that ruling and opposition rulers on the floors should keep in mind the interest of the country and Muslim Umma, while devising policies. He urged the government to take some solid measures on international level to ensure the safety of Muslims across the country. He urged the Muslim block countries to be united for the sake of their existence. He asked them to take some joint solid measures so as to safeguard the oppressed people of Gaza. He also shed light in detail on the role and dual standards of international forces.
JI leader Muhammad Hussain Mehati, while addressing the demonstration said that anti-Muslim forces have assembled themselves against the Muslim Umma. He called Muslim countries for a united front against the injustice, being practiced against Muslims across the world, particularly in Philistine. He said that a revolution, on the design of Egypt and Tunis would have to be introduced in Pakistan. He urged masses to come forward and play their due role for the struggle of truth and justice.
JI leaders Naseem Siddiqui, Nasarullah Shaji, Naeem-ur-Rehman and Osama Bin Razzi also addressed the protest demonstration.
