London: Chelsea reached the FA Cup Final for the Third time in four seasons with a very big marginal victory over the spurs which ended 5-1. The two goals in the first half time by Didier Drogba and Juan Mata put the Chelsea on command before the Gareth Bale put a goal for the Spurs.

In the same time Frank Lampard and Florent Malouda struck the goal for the Londoners. “It was a great performance by our team. I think that it’s a boost of confidence for us,” stand-in manager Roberto Di Matteo told reporters.

Chelsea would be looking to win the FA cup overall 6 times and 4 times after 2007.
