Bodybuilder Salman Ahmad Disappointed By Government & Media

salman ahmedBodybuilder Salman Ahmad recently launched a video on the social media to express his disappointment about ignoring his recent achievement. Salman Ahmad has won the Mr Universe competition. He returned home thinking that the Pakistani media will promote him and recognize his achievement at the global level, but to his dismay that was not the case. Salman called various media groups and personally visited their offices to give him coverage, but he said that they all just shrugged their shoulders and said ‘so what?’

Salman said that he was proud to represent Pakistan and that he was the first Pakistani to have his picture published in the magazine of the world’s fittest people. But he said that all his efforts were in vain and that his moral had suffered a major blow. He said even his university of Punjab, from where he has received his education denied to support him. Salman said that cricket was the only sport that the government officials and the media were mad about. But what if someone wants to make a name in another field?

Salman said that Pakistanis abroad are not given the respect that is due to them owing to the lack of government support. Individuals go on the international level on their own and are still not recognized for their feat. He said that all sports should be given equal importance and that the government should support the people of Pakistan instead of indulging in their own personal affairs. Salman Ahmed’s complete video can be watched on his Facebook page facebook.com/salman.ahmad.98.
