Pakistan’s top property portal Zameen.com organized a highly successful meet-up for bloggers on May 28, 2015 at Gloria Jeans in Dolmen City Mall, Sea View Road, Karachi. The event, which was the fourth of its kind and the first to be held in Karachi, was hash-tagged #EveningWithZameen and saw bloggers from various backgrounds come together for a brilliant exchange of ideas as well as knowledge sharing. The event was hosted by Zameen.com’s PR & Communication Manager Shaista Zulfiqar, Online Marketing Manager Shehryar Qureshi, Assistant Editor Samra Zulfiqar and Senior Content Developer Zain Nadeem.
Shaista Zulfiqar started the event with a presentation on Zameen.com’s history, walking everyone through how the website began in a bedroom in 2006 and grew from there to become the most successful real estate portal in the country. She also told the bloggers that Zameen.com now has offices in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Faisalabad and Gujranwala, along with presence in 14 other cities of Pakistan.
Zameen.com’s search engine optimization (SEO) whiz Shehryar Qureshi talked to the bloggers about important SEO factors to keep in mind when writing online, which were met with great enthusiasm and interest. These presentations were followed by casual discussions between Team Zameen and the bloggers, who asked various insightful questions about how the portal works and gave their feedback. They expressed their appreciation of Zameen.com’s role in changing the face of Pakistani real estate and marvelled at the website’s meteoric growth.
Afterwards, Team Zameen enjoyed a delicious meal with the bloggers. The brilliant response from the bloggers made the event absolutely special, and Zameen.com is grateful for their participation.
