On Sunday eight people were injured outside a mosque in French city of Avignon after two men open fire in front of the mosque with shotgun.
According to the reports four hooded men arrived in a car and two of them opened fire using shotguns in which 8 people were injured including a child.
The prosecutor denied to call it terrorism saying that the firing happened outside mosque, while locals are criticizing the statement saying it should be treated as a terrorist attack until investigation reveals contrary.
Few days earlier another man from France attempted to drive his car on worshippers coming out of the mosque, but failed to do so because of the protective barrier. In London 1 man was killed and 10 injured after worshippers were targeted outside mosque.
In European countries islamophobia is on rise and Muslims are being attacked because of their religious believes. Some countries including France have banned complete niqab, others have also banned minarets and Halal slaughtering of animals.
