ISLAMABAD: Foreign Adviser Sartaj Aziz has said that anti-Pakistan statements made by Indian politicians, shows their war mentality. Sartaj Aziz was addressing to the tenth SAARC UGC Heads Conference. He said that Indian politicians gave anti-Pakistan statements in order to get votes in elections and their statements against Pakistan reflect their war mentality.
He said that there was no use of negotiating with India without including Kashmir and water issues, adding that the world should take notice of the tension between Pakistan and India. He added that we were bringing the issue of threatening statements under the notice of UN Secretary General.
Sartaj Aziz said that we did not fight with India if there was no possibility of friendship, adding that we wanted friendly relationships with India but the negotiations to solve the issues could not be taken place on India’s conditions.
The foreign adviser said that some people were surely unhappy on Pak-China corridor but there was no threat to Pak-China Economic Corridor. He further said that economic corridor was not one road but there were more plans associated.
