ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he did not start saying of fly’s death during a ceremony in Karachi and it was stated in a lighter vein. While expressing his thoughts in National Assembly, the premier said that he said to the Governor of Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan that there should not be any strikes in Karachi. He said that hopefully Rashid Godil, leader of MQM, would have been satisfied with the explanation.
Nawaz Sharif further said if there was a need of further explanation, I would meet leaders of MQM and give them explanation. He said that we had started work on many plans with Sindh government, adding that the federal government was gifting Green bus to the people of Karachi and 5 billion rupees have been issued for this project. He added that all the funds for this plan would be provided by the federal government.
Nawaz Sharif said that we would help Sindh government in K4 plan whereas I said to the Chief Minister of Sindh Qaim Ali Shah the more the money you would keep in budget for the plan, the same amount would be provided by the federal government. He further said that the federal government would give 50 per cent in the budget of Karachi.
