Islamabad: Pakistani authorities have taken a flight passenger in custody at Benazir Bhutto International Airport here on Saturday over carrying of weapon before he was being departed from the airport, local television informed. According to the reports, the traveller was the American citizen as a US passport has also been recovered from his luggage.
The US Citizen was carrying 9mm pistol along with him, during the security check he was arrested by the Airport security officials. The detained man has been shifted to the police station while no FIR has been launched against him by now.
Earlier today, the Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested two accused men of smuggling heroin to England, foiling their attempt.
