Pakistan’s adoption of 5G technology may experience further delays as officials work to guarantee that they are completely ready for its rollout this year.
The 5G deployment this year may be delayed, according to the Minister of IT and Telecommunication (MoITT), Syed Aminul Haque, who was speaking to the media during a tree-planting campaign in Islamabad recently.
The minister stated that although the government is attempting to roll out 5G across the nation this year, delays are expected due to the weak economy and limitations on letters of credit.
The minister claimed that solar panels were being installed on telecom towers all around the nation as a means of energy conservation through power supplies at cellular locations.
