Spain is ranked fifth in FIH Men’s World Ranking and won its first medal in hockey in 2008 Olympics in Beijing when they finished second behind Germany.
According to former hockey players if Pakistan wins the match then it will be a great achievement, however veteran goal keeper Salman Akbar is of the view that if Pakistan will draw the match then it will be a good result but losing all three points will really harm green shirts chances of progressing in 30th Olympic Games.
The match will be broadcast live on PTV Sports at 5:45 PM.
Update: Matched Ended on Draw, Both teams scored 1-1 goal. Rehan Butt from Pakistan scored goal in 46th minute which was equalized by Spanish player Pau Quemada in 47th minute.
