Karachi: The University of Karachi has announced the commencement of admissions for the year 2025. The decision was made in a meeting chaired by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi.

According to Director Admissions, Dr. Saima Akhtar, online admission forms for Doctor of Pharmacy (morning and evening programs), Visual Studies, BS, and B.Ed (Hons) will be accepted from October 28, 2024, to November 6, 2024.

Programs offered include:

– BS programs in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Applied Physics, Biotechnology, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Commerce, Computer Science, Criminology, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Education, Environmental Studies, Food Science and Technology, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, International Relations, Mass Communication, Petroleum Technology, Public Administration, Special Education, and Sports Business Management.
– Teacher Education (B.Ed Hons)
– Visual Studies programs: Bachelor of Design (4-year program), Bachelor of Fine Arts (4-year program), and Bachelor of Architecture (5-year program)

The entrance test for Doctor of Pharmacy and BS/B.Ed programs will be held on November 17, 2024, while the merit list will be announced on November 26, 2024.

For Visual Studies, the entrance test will be held on November 10, and the merit list will be announced on November 30, 2024.

Additionally:

– Morning program: BS first and third-year admissions on open merit will begin on November 18, 2024, with the last date for online form submission being November 28, 2024.
– Evening program: BS first, third-year programs, and diploma and certificate courses admissions will commence on December 8, 2024, with the last date for online form submission being December 18, 2024.

Aspiring candidates are advised to submit their online admission forms within the specified deadlines.
