President Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Yaseen Azad has said that the decision against National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) should be implemented with its letter and spirit, adding that SCBA is standing with the Apex court.
Talking to media after announcement of judgment on review petition filed by the federation on Friday, Yaseen Azad said that the judiciary is not helpless, adding that judiciary knows how to implement its verdicts and time should be given to government for implementation on the verdict given against NRO.
Yseen said that court has given a judgment in review petition and government should be given a chance to implement the decision and we should wait for some time to see the government steps.
He said that it has been clearly mentioned in the constitution that government is bound to implement the court decisions, adding that the decision of implementation is between court and the government, if any kind of crisis arises the Supreme Court Bar Association play its role.
Replying to a question he said that he had not taken any benefit from the government.
