Unregistered Mobile Prepaid Sims To Be Blocked: Rehman Malik

Unregistered sims to be blockedKarachi: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that those mobile prepaid Sims that are not registered would be blocked very soon adding that a new frame work for selling out mobile Sims has been determined. According to the newly determined structure, the Sims will now be available on residential addresses and not on mobile shops.

While talking to media persons, Malik said that now the customers could not buy sims from shops instead they would have to inform the residential address and sim number to the shop keeper, after which the Sim would be sent to the home address.

He further said that Altaf Hussain and Governor Sindh Ishrat ul Ebad played a vital role in ending trader’s strike and controlling law and order situation in the city.
