Islamabad: Saudi Arabia’s Interior Ministry reported on Sunday that two their wanted citizens were arrested in Pakistan. According to the Arab TV reports the Saudi Interior Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Mansoor Akhtar told the names of two suspects in his statement that were arrested in Pakistan and their names are Adel Felieh al-Anzi, and Bassem Mohammad Hamed al-Jehni.
Both suspects had taken to Saudi Arabia on Saturday after one week of their detention in Pakistan. Spokesman told reporters that both have been medically tested after their return from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia. They shall be treated in accordance with state policies and will provide the opportunity to meet with their families. These two young men were arrested under the campaign against the suspects who were involved in overseas terrorist activities by the Saudi kingdom. However, the Saudi Interior Ministry spokesman did not told that from which region of Pakistan, these two teenagers have been.
Adel Felieh al-Anzi who is recorded among 85 most wanted by security officials in the Kingdom released by the Ministry of Interior in February 2009 and Bassem Mohammad Hamed al-Jehni who who is among the 47 most wanted individuals declared in January 2011. The arrest of these two culprits exemplifies the discriminating efforts of authorities to identify wanted individuals outside the Kingdom. Saudi King Abdullah issued an announcement up to 20 years in jail for Saudis who are members of “terrorist groups” and join fighting abroad.
