The month of Ramazan is about caring for others and doing good deeds, and that’s exactly what a Sikh citizen from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) is doing in the busy market place of Peshawar.
Sahib Singh distributes cold lassi during the time of iftar to get his share from the blessings from the month of Ramadan. It is not the first time he is doing it rather he has been doing it from past 16 years.
“I have been serving lassi, sharbat and channa rice to more than 350 deserving people twice a week in the month of Ramazan since 2001,” Sahib Singh said to media.
He said he cover the expenses from his income through medical store. The ‘free iftar’ costs him more than 200,000 but he said he covers it through his earnings.
He serves Lassi, Chana and rice to more than 350 people who start coming at the location when iftar time reaches.
