Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is planning to build Pakistan’s own Twin Tower which will be a multibillion 28 story building. The twin towers will be situated on Jail Road which is considered to be among Lahore’s main streets.
The cost of the building is estimated to be Rs. 4.25 billion and LDA has formally requested expressions of Interest (EOI) for the construction of the towers. The last date for EOI submission is 24th May.
The project will be a joint venture between LDA and private firm in which LDA will provide the land as equity while the firm will be responsible for the design and construction.
LDA director General Zahid Akhter Zaman is also meeting foreign investors. On the directions of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif he met Chinese and Turkish investors.
