Popular and experienced script writer of Pakistan, Anwar Maqsood has written another stage drama with the title, “Siachen”. While holding a press conference in federal capital Islamabad, Anwar Maqsood has announced that stage drama Siachen will be started from 31st of October, 2015 at PNCA, Islamabad. The initial starting date of Siachen was previously set 29th of October, but after earthquake, it has been delayed for two days. Stage drama Siachen is written by Anwar Maqsood, while it is directed by Dawood Mehmood.
In a press conference, Anwar Maqsood told the journalists that stage drama Siachen is revolving around struggle of the soldiers present on world’s highest and toughest battlefield, Siachen. He said that stage drama Siachen is produced under the banner of KopyKats Productions, containing serious and message conveying story for the viewers. Anwar Maqsood also said that Siachen will be played in Lahore in the month of December, while it will come to Karachi in the beginning of next year. He said that the main reason behind this drama is to raise patriotism in public.
