Karachi: Recently awarded the second place in the ‘Funniest person in the world competition’, Saad Haroon, a world renowned comedian, writer and performer, will deliver a lecture on November 10, as part of Aga Khan University’s Sixth Sense Forum (6sf) lecture series.
Haroon is the first stand-up comedian to tour the country and written four critically acclaimed solo shows, namely, Saad Haroon: Very Live!, Saad Haroon: This is Stand-up Comedy, Don’t Worry Be Pakistani and theKata-Kat Comedy Tour that ran to packed audiences throughout Pakistan.
He also performed in prestigious venues all over the world including the Southbank Centre in London and the world famous Laugh Factory in Hollywood.
The 6sf – a collaborative lecture series organised by AKU Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Medical College’s Humanities and Social Sciences group – promotes and encourages academic discourse and intellectual conversation.
