It has been quite a long time since we saw Sharp Galapagos tablet clearing the FCC. Some geeks out there are probably wondering when this tab will come to stores. Sharp has already offered its launch dates in Japan and we will come to know the dates when they will announce them in US. According to the last PR it is hoped that the tab will be launched later in this August.
Galapagos A01SH tab has a slim and smart LCD screen which measures 7 inches and has a resolution of 1024 by 600. It has a strong 5 mega pixel camera at the back for capturing your favorite moments and it also has a front camera of 2 mega pixel for video calling. It also has an internal modem which offer downloads up to 42 Mbps. Sharp Galapagos is loaded with Android operating system of version 3.2 Honeycomb.
This unique android tablet from Sharp has a cool look and a sleek design. The processor fitted is a Tegra 2 dual-core from NVIDIA which runs at 1.2 GHz. The speed is not a problem at all because it is loaded with 1 GB of RAM. Say goodbye to low memory storage options; thanks to Sharp for loading this phone with 8 GB of internal storage.
Sharp also claims that the battery locked inside the Galapagos A01SH can give a hard time of 7.5 hours with continuous usage. The price of Sharp Galapagos is still unknown but after some days Its price will be labeled too.
