Lahore: The Chairman selection Committee of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Iqbal Qasim said that Pakistan team is about to face a challenging series against India. He said that the announcement regarding the squad for India’s tour will be made after the National T20 Tournament.
He also added that the series again the India is very important and the team will be selected on the basis of merit and fitness of the players. A training camp of 10 days will be organized for the team to enhance their practice for the coming series, he informed.
Responding to a question, he said that Shahid Afridi is the centre of expectations in the National T20 Tournament. He also said that the series against the South Africa is also very crucial and we will try to consider Mohammad Yusuf for that series. We are hoping for a better performance from Yusuf in the domestic session, he said.
On the other hand the former captain of the team Inzamam-ul-Haq said that he is ready to give services for the team in the light of his experience. He also added that Pakistani players should focus on cricket as much as they can.
