Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has given permission to the top players of Pakistan. Shahid Afridi, Umar Akmal and Saeed Ajmal will allow participating in Australia’s star studded Big Bash Twenty 20 cricket league. Decision was taken by PCB after receiving a formal request of Australia Cricket.
According to officials, these players allow to play in Big Bash for only one week with their respective teams. Three Pakistani will depart from Australia on 6th December 2012. Young blood Umar, expert of Dusra Ajmal and Boom Boom Afridi are not available for semi final of the mega event.
However Shaid Afridi has ended his contract with Autsrlian domestic team and now he will play in Pakistan T20 domestic competition. Big Bash League side Sydney Sixers have terminated Umar Akmal’s contract because he was given permission to play only one match. Moreover, the presence of these three players is very important in training camp which held for practice before the crucial series against India.
