Saudi Arabia is seeing rapid change in its policy and way of ruling after King Salman become head of House of Saud. But it is believed that the real policy maker is his son and the crown prince Mohammad bin Salman. Many prince were arrested and ministers removed in a new power struggle.
Around dozen of ministers and princes were removed and arrested on charges of corruption. The arrested ministers & prince include:

- Prince Mitaab bin Abdullah (Former Minister of the National Guard)
- Prince Turki bin Abdullah (Former Governor of Riyadh)
- Prince Turki bin Naseer
- Waleed Ibrahim (Owner of MCB Media group)
- Khaled al Tuwaijri (Former President of the Royal Court)
- Adel Faqih (Economy & Planning Minister)
- Omer Dabbagh (Former President of the General Investment Authority)
- Saleh Kamel
- Saud Al Tobaishi (Head of Royal ceremonies & protocols)
- Ibrahim al Assaf (State Minister)
- Bakr bin Ladin (Owner of Bin Ladin Group)
- Saud Al Dawish (Former CEO of Saudi Telecom Company)
- Khaled al Mulhem ( Former Director General of Saudi Arabian Airlines)
Saudi Prince Mansour bin Muqrin who was the Deputy Governor of Asir Province was also killed in a crash near Yemen border but questions are being raised whether it was a crash or an assassination.
