Lahore: The administration of Punjab University has increased the examination fees of private students by 20 percent in order to meet the budget deficit of the university, management told Thursday.
While commenting on the increase in the exams fees, the university official said that the fees have been increased because of the shortage of funds by the government.
It is to mention here that the decision will hugely affect the poor students who with much difficulty make both ends meet and the increase in the examination fees will deprive them of having enough education.
