Lahore: The member National Assembly of Pakistan Peoples Party Muhammad Afzal Sindhu has announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in a meeting with PTI Chief Imran Khan here Monday noon, credible sources informed.
According to the sources, the actual reason behind Sindhu’s leaving PPP and joining PTI is not confirmed yet. However, the negotiations between PPP MNA and PTI leaders regarding this were underway from the past several weeks.
Muhammad Afzal Sindhu was elected from NA-191 (Bahawalnagar-IV) constituency on the ticket of Pakistan Peoples Party and was the member of PPP core committee.
In the past, he has served in two ministries. He remained the Federal Minister for Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs and Federal Minister of State for Railways during current PPP government in 2008.
