PML-N Never Demanded Removal Of 3rd Time Bar To Become Premier: Rashid

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Spokespersons of the Punjab government Senator Pervez Rashid has said that the PML-N never demanded removal of third time bar to become prime minister of the country.

This he said in reaction over the statement of Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani that the third time bar to become the premier was removed for only one person that is Mian Nawaz Sharif.

In an interview with a private TV channel Pervez Rashid said that the PML-N never demanded removal of bar to become third time prime minister of the country, adding that the prime minister has started fight with the masses of the country.

He said that the masses ask questions from the prime minister that why the prices of electricity are so high, why the government has destroyed railways and PIA and one province has been buried under flood.

He said that the PML-N would not allow the government to bury the masses under the shadow of darkness, adding that the PML-N would bring the masses from problems being faced today.

He said that the prime minister should come out in public and reply these questions, adding that the scale of masses patience become short due to the failure of government to solve the masses problems.

He said that the PPP leadership forgiven a dictator who imposed ban on Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto to become third time prime minister, adding that the killers of BB are part of government today.

He said that the prime minister instead of delivering speeches in closed halls should come out in masses and give reply to the questions of the masses, adding that the position of premier was not more than a peon before the passage of the 18th amendment.

He said that the prime minister should remember that the 18th amendment was passed with the help of 90 votes of PML-N, adding that it would have been impossible for the government to pass the 18th amendment if PML-N had not supported.

He said that if the government is happy to keep with the bar on 3rd time premiership it should save the heritage of a dictator.
