Islamabad: Federal Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain said that Pakistan has received 100 orders to for Mushshak jets from various countries including Turkey.
He said that any kind of illegal trading of Pakistani manufactured weapons is not being done. He further said that our manufactured weapons are not being misused.
While answering in the meeting of National Assembly Standing Committee on Defence Production, Rana Tanveer said that the weapons being manufactured in Pakistan Ordnance Factories are of world standards.
Previously revenue generated from small arms export was around 20 to 25 Million rupees which during the three years period have increased to 100Million. The target for exports for the year 2016-17 is Rs. 150 Million and to achieve that target POF is increasingly doing their job.
Karachi shipyard which was going in loss has now been made to meet the deficit profit. At the time Karachi shipyard is providing profit of Rs. 4Million.
