ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has sent 934 degrees of the Members of Parliament to the concerned universities for verification and to get know whether these degrees are real or have been obtained by unfair means.
The Chairman of HEC Dr Jawed Laghari told that within two weeks, all the concerned universities will complete the verification process of degrees and than it will be sent back to Election Commission.
Dr Jawed told further that HEC, itself, will decide about the degrees of unapproved foreign universities while 61 unreadable degrees were sent back to the Election Commission. HEC has directed Election Commission to give back these degrees with clear text which can be read easily.
