As expected, Karachi was declared the biggest city of Pakistan with a population of 14,910,352 but citizens from Karachi were not satisfied with the results and raised questions on the authenticity and method of census.
People who have travelled to both cities were also shocked by the results saying that Karachi is far bigger than Lahore. Some claim that this may have been because of people from other provinces or cities who work and live in Karachi but were included in their native cities.
Census fig:shocking for Karachi & Lahore.Said to be Karachi's population over 25 mn,but it is 16.7 million,Lahore 17 mn but 12.5 million ?

On the other hand the population of Lahore almost doubled in the past 19 years from 5,143,495 to 11,126,285. The population of Quetta, Islamabad, Peshawar & Gujranwala was also doubled.
Find it hard to believe that according to the 2017 census figures Lahore's population grew far more rapidly than Karachi's
