Riyadh: A Pakistani man today was beheaded by the Saudi Arabia, who was found involved in the drug trafficking in the province of Khubar in the eastern part of the State, announced the interior ministry. Official of the SPA agency said that Arshad Mohammad, Pakistani citizen was convicted of the crime after heroin and hashish were recovered from him which he tried to take into the kingdom.
With the beginning of this year around four Pakistani people have had arrested and beheaded so far. The kingdom is reported to have beheaded around 76 people last year, while the US-Based Human Rights Watch put the number as 69. It is pertinent to mention here that robbery, rape, murder are all sorts of crimes that are punishable in accordance with the Islamic Shariah and so does the Saudi Arabia law follow. Hence all forms of such crimes are met with the punishment of death.
